2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters,
proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent,
fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers
of God;
5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from
such turn away.

• What is the meaning of the word perilous '?

• dangerous, hazardous, precarious, perilous, risky
mean bringing or involving the chance of loss or
injury. dangerous applies to something that may
cause harm or loss unless dealt with carefully.
INTRODUCTION
• During the time of Paul men had have become wicked, depraved or morally
corrupt, and reprobate (an unprincipled person; (in Calvinism) a sinner who
is not of the elect and is predestined to damnation.)They loved wickedness
and resisted the truth.
• Paul warned believers it shall be more PERILOUS in the last days.
• We are in the last days, evil men become bad to worse.
• What the believers should do amidst crooked (dishonest or criminal) and
perverse (turned away from what is right or good) society/nation?
• How should God’s children respond to this?
