characteristics. Etc. Teak, mango tree, mahogany, mara
Teak (Tectona grandis)
• durable and high strength
• Golden or Medium brown, Teak wood color dark over time
• Teak has great finishing properties
• It is easy to cut and shape. Great workability properties

Uses of teak :Outdoor, indoor furniture, cutting boards, flooring, and boat decks

Mango Tree (Mangifera indica)


• more resistant to moisture than other wood types
• rich, golden brown color with yellow or black streaks
• one of the most sustainable materials in the world
• hardwood, so it’s strong and dense
• it is relatively low in price

Uses of mango wood: Musical Instruments , Furniture,flooring,cabinetry, decorative wood working


Mahogany (Swietenia spp.)
• Mahogany typically has a reddish-brown color that deepens with age, giving it an elegant
appearance.
• highly durable and resistant wood(perfect for decking)
• The moisture-resistant properties are due to the natural oils present
• it can be easily worked with hand and machine tools.

Uses :wall siding, outdoor dining sets, garden chairs, boat building, indoor furniture

Mara (Swartzia spp.)


• Mara wood often has a reddish-brown color with a straight or interlocked grain pattern
• It has natural resistance to decay and insects, adding to its longevity.

Uses: flooring,furnitures, Outdoor Applications

In addition, it is used chipboards, MDF in the workplace


Uses : cable,reels,furniture applications, packing materials, filing and crafting.
