PARALLELOGRAMS
• A rectangle is a parallelogram with four right
angles.
• A square is a rectangle with four congruent
sides.
• A rhombus is a parallelogram with four
congruent sides.
RECTANGLES

A rectangle is a parallelogram if
a. Both pairs of opposite sides are congruent and
parallel;
b. Diagonals bisect each other;
c. Opposite angles are congruent; and
d. Consecutive angles are supplementary.

A rhombus is a parallelogram if
a. Both pairs of opposite sides are congruent and
