Country’s Scenario
 Electricity crisis a severe issue in Nepal.
 According to UNDP (2012), the technical
renewable energy potential of Nepal is
77,949 MW, which includes 2,100 MW of
solar PV, 716 MW of wind, and 42,133 MW
of hydro.
 Residential and industrial sectors are major
electricity consumers.
* Nepal only produces 762.03 MW (WECS, 2014) during wet season.
* Several challenges for energy development includes: poor economic condition of
the country, complex topography, political unwillingness, and many more.
* Poor transmission system is another challenge.
* NEA (2011), claims the 28% transmission loss.
* Government of Nepal, has forwarded the statement of eradicate load shedding by
next year.
Solution
 To supplement the power scarcity of the country, First Manhattan Energy
Corporation, USA in association with its Nepal representative Blue Eagle
Eye International Educational Consultancy presents a new, highly efficient
and innovative technology,
“The JouleBox Solar Hybrid Generator”

ACTIONS PLAN
Understanding The Technology
5 Proven Technologies have been combined to generate electricity.

1. Solar Panels and DC Generators to constantly charge the batteries.

2. Lithium Ion Battery Brick with patented Serial and Parallel wiring to Charge and Discharge. By
not using the 15,000 charge/discharge life cycles, the batteries will last 20 years plus.
3. Vortex Reduction Chamber (VRC). High Pressure Manufactured Wind is sent through a VRC to
increase Force with reduced energy to turn the Power Turbine. The Power Turbine turns an AC
Generator.
4. High Efficiency Speed Control DC Motors and DC Blower Motors and controllers for greater
durability and reliability. We use electronic controllers to maximize efficiency. Our motors use
less than 1/3rd the energy of conventional motors. Recycle back EMF.
5. Power Q – controls the power quality output to sync with the grid and maintain proper
harmonics. Clean sine waves, stable Hz and harmonics, no power surges.
 We have protected the Intellectual Property (IP) with layers of use patents, copyrights and other IP. The software is burned into the chips which eliminates the risk of

Surveyed Sites
Altogether sixteen different sites were surveyed throughout the various
parts of country. The survey was carried based on the following
considerations:
 The extent of urbanization of the area
 The extent of industrialization of the area
The key assumptions for the selection of the sites are that, highly
urbanized and industralized area would have high electricity demand
compared to others and installation of JouleBox around those area
could supplement with the electricity supply and aid to reduce the
degree of electricity crisis.
The detail information on the surveyed sites are presented in the
following slide.
