1. What is the demographic profile of Criminology Minority Students from 1 st year to 4th year of
Innovative College of Science and Technology SY 2022-2023 in terms of:
1.1Age
1.2. Sex
2. What are the Factors Influencing to the Minority Students for Choosing Criminology Course in
Innovative College of Science and Technology SY 2022-2023 in terms of:
2.1. Family Influence
2.2 Peer Influence
3. Is there a significant relationship between the demographic profile of the respondents and the
factors influencing minority students for choosing criminology course in Innovative College of Science
and Technology SY 2022-2023?
1. What is the demographic profile of Criminology Minority Students from 1 st year to 4th year of
Innovative College of Science and Technology SY 2022-2023 in terms of:
1.1Age

Table 1.1 shows the frequency and percentage of Criminology Minority Students from 1st year to 4th year of
Innovative College of Science and Technology in terms of age.

Respondents aging 16-20 got the highest percentage with a frequency of five (5) or 50%
followed by the respondents aging 21-25 with the frequency of four(4) or 40% and respondents aging 26-
30 got the lowest percentage with the frequency of one (1) or 10% with the total frequency of twenty (10)
or 100%.

Table 1.2 shows the frequency and percentage of Criminology Minority
Students from 1st year to 4th year of Innovative College of Science and Technology
in terms of sex.
Majority of the respondents are female and with the frequency of six (6) or
60% whereas, male got a frequency of four (4) or 40% with a total frequency of
ten (10) or 100%.

Influencing Minority Students for Choosing Criminology Course in Innovative
College of Science and Technology SY 2022-2023 in terms of family influence.
The item 3 got the highest rank with a mean of 4.6 and a description of strongly agree which

indicates that the respondents Choose B.S Criminology because this is a parent’s dream. Then, the

item number 2 got the second rank with a mean of 4.2 has description of agree which describes that the

respondents Pursue B.S Criminology based on parent’s occupation. Lastly, item number 1 got the

lowest rank with a mean of 3.9 described as agree which demonstrates that respondents Seek parent’s

advice or recommendation based on the school’s quality education.

The overall mean score 4.23 which shows the Factors Influencing Minority Students for Choosing

Criminology Course in Innovative College of science and Technology SY 2022-2023 in terms of Family

Influence and has the description of agree.

indicates that the respondents Go by the trend in class/campus in choosing a course and Being

acknowledge by friends if choose the same course with them. Item number 1 got the lowest rank with a

mean of 4.3 which described as agree and indicates thatrespondents Consult friends before choosing this

course.

The overall mean score 4.43 which shows the Factors Influencing Minority Students for Choosing
