 WHAT IS IoT?

The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to any

physical object that may be linked to the internet
and used to communicate and collect data.
Enables interaction and data transfer with other
smart gadgets over the internet.
These physical objects are “smart” owing to the
embedded sensors and software.
It is a rapidly evolving technological field that
transforms any electronic device into a smarter
one.

IoT applications can be used in many ways to

help businesses simplify, improve, automate, and
control processes while providing relevant
information, activity performance, and even
environmental conditions that need to be monitored
and controlled remotely.
IoT applications are using AI and machine
learning to add intelligence to devices.
IoT applications aid in decision making, tracking
and monitoring systems in real-time, and
automating daily tasks for convenience.
