DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF PATIENT BILLING SYSTEM

Aim:
This project is aimed at developing patient billing software system that is of importance to a hospital. This system can be used to maintain information about the patient(location)and the charges to be paid.

Existing system

In the current scenario, the patients information is stored in the form of excel sheets.

The

system is not having the facility of tracking

transfers of patients from the general ward to the ICU and vice versa.

disadvantages of existing system

This system gives us very less security for saving

data.
Some

data may be lost due to

mismanagement.
It

takes a lot of time to search for particular

room vacancy information.

Proposed system
The

proposed system will provide the

information about the patient based on the ward number whether the patient is either in the ward or ICU.
By

using this system we can prepare all bills

pending to be paid by a patient before the patient discharge.

Advantages of proposed system

We

can keep a track of all beds occupied/free

in both the ward and the ICU by using this system.

We

can keep track of all transfers of patient

from the general ward to the ICU and vice versa.

This module maintain all the employees details. This module also can view all the details of patient s and billing generation regarding the patients. This module maintain the record of doctors movement from one branch to another branch.
