    Orchard farming is usually deals with fruit production for domestic use and for profit gain. Its aimed for travelers, Merchants, local traders, explorers and so on. Who travel on Camels or by foot from one continent to another. Orchard Farming is a product based business.

    Technically it is difficult to produce fruits in the Sahara desert, but yet possible to practice because there is nothing impossible.

    WHY ORCHARD FARMING


    Traditional orchard farming is quite tedious to practice in Sahara areas where there is no sufficient water ways. It apparently rear to see a farmer producing such varieties along those areas. This is why I personally found it so challenging, and I have to take my chance.

    Problems and solutions in orchard farming


    Problems The first problem to encounter is lack of water supply. The soil found in those areas is usually dry and sandy. Weather condition is unfavorable Transportation of farm produce and other commodities. Solutions
    Nowadays, there are heavy drilling machines that can drill Sahara and locate water. Therefore, borehole can be constructed. For the soil, some fruits can undergo nursery growth then later transfer them to ground. Transportation problem can be minimize via the use of Sahara Jeeps and other form of vehicles.
