Home assignment Your task is to analyse 01 to maximum 03 texts (of 200-250 words each) subject to the following constraints:

The texts must be authentic whose source is quoted and can be checked. Text selection must be done and a soft copy of the text(s) submitted to teachers by week 8. The text will be analysed in all the aspects covered in the course (noun phrase, verb phrase, simple sentence, complex sentence, adverbials, apposition, coordination and ellipsis). In case one text alone does not provide enough room for such analysis, a maximum of TWO more may be used on this purpose. An analysis of the selected text(s) on relevant issues must be submitted the week following each review session (week 5-8-10-12). Late or no submission will result in penalties toward final score. Date of final submission: week 15. Late submission will NOT be accepted.
