LETTER OF GRATITUDE
Octiber 22, 2012 Rev. Fr. Pompeyo F. De Mesa O.P. Regent Faculty of Pharmacy University of Santo Tomas Dear Father, First of all, I would like to introduce myself for the third time. I am Edwin A. Loterte Jr., currently a sophomore student of BS Pharmacy. I am honored to be a recipient of the Sto. Tomas Scholarship during my first year of studying at this prestigious university. Your generous support will definitely be a big help for me to fulfill a lifelong dream of being a Pharmacist in the future. Growing up in a family that merely sees each other, because my parents needs to work away from home to sustain our needs, made me realize the value of a college education and what it can do to change our life. I will be the last in my family to attend college, and I hope that I will be able to lighten the expenses of my parents for my education, of course with the help of the said scholarship scheme. My first three semesters at University of Sto. Tomas has been both challenging and exciting. It seems that academically, I am doing fine, having made the deans list for the said three terms with a General Weighted Average of 1.623 My plan at this stage is still to finish, hopefully, up to the 5th year of Clinical Pharmacy in this prestigious university, since we all know that University of Sto. Tomas is noted around the country for its stellar and outstanding pharmacy program and as the Top Performing Pharmacy School, and I am very fortunate to have been accepted. I hope that with your continuous support, I will be able to graduate in this University with honors. Bearing your words of wisdom to STUDY NOT ONLY HARDER BUT ALSO SMARTER, I will really strive hard to achieve my goals. Again, thanks to generous individual such as you, this goal in now within my reach.
