Play game where students have to give the teacher the object described i.e. Give me the big blue square Describing objects using adjectives This is an red ball This is a big hat Drawing a picture following teacher instructions Worksheets where they have to match the different properties i.e. An old square house The student has to draw a line matching all the right properties and the correct object

Phonics This week we will be continue focusing more on the letter sounds to make sure the students have a solid grounding to start decoding words Review - This week we will continue learning about opposites during or review

Notes / parent follow up: This week we will be describing different objects - Check how many opposites your child can say - Ask them to compare objects Which one is big?, Which one is long? etc. - What shape is it? - What colour? - It is big/heavy/tall etc.
