Shapes circle, square, triangle, oval, semicircle, rectangle. Colours red, yellow, green, blue, white, black, orange, purple, brown, grey, pink. Activities / songs / games: Songs: Old McDonald, The day song, opposites song, HSKT, I can see a rainbow, if your happy and you know it Activities: - Matching and colouring sheets - Find shapes in the room - Student draws a shape on the board then we spell it together - Act out opposites in pairs - Board and floor slap - Give me the red ball - Drawing coloured objects following teachers instructions - Matching properties an old square house, students draw lines matching properties to objects
