Objective: Students will be able to listen attentively, recognize letters and revamp their
sounds and related vocabulary.
Skills: Phonetic awareness of “s” recognizes the letter and related vocabulary develop
wrist and hand muscles.
Resources: Flash cards, sand tray, LCD, play dough and worksheets.
Methodology:
A, B, C song will be sung. They will be encouraged to revise letter “s” with their
phoneme.
Students will be assessed by showing flash cards of letters “s”. Real objects will
be displayed and their names will be asked.

Methodology:
• Class will be start with the rhyme one two three four five once I cought a fish…….

Integration:

Different items will be drawn on the board.
Some flash cards will be displayed to repeat the concept.
Teacher will show some real objects and count e.g. 8 toy
cars.
Children will come to the board and trace number 8 with
correct formation.
