Objective(s): Students will be able to:
Read the picture words.
Know about the animals and their habitat from the map.
Skills focused on: observing, predicting, Reading, describing.
Resources: Title Cover, Reader pgs.6-7, board marker, flash cards, Syllabus break up
Methodology (selected in the subject coordination meeting should be used)
Demonstration, Explanation, Discussion.
Brainstorming of the lesson will be done through listening the recording of the poem.

Topic will be introduced by the teacher and written on the board.
Objective will be shared by the teacher and written on the board.
Explanation of the tittle cover page will be given by the teacher.
Teacher will tell about the concept of content page. Teacher will also revise the picture words.
And call the students to spell the picture words.
Teacher will explain the habitat of different animals. Teacher will explain about the living
Places of animals from the map or globe. And ask the students to read pgs. 8-9.
Students will read the text pgs. 8-9 with correct pronunciation and phonics.
Discussion will be done among the teacher and students about the reader pgs. 8-9.
Success criteria will be shared and written on the board.
Recap will be taken especially from slow learners by calling them in front of the class.
