Methodology (Selected in coordination meeting) Recap: will be done by asking questions: Why do we use past tenses? What are carbon footprints? Introduction: Will be done by writing the topic on the board. SLOs will be shared orally and by writing on the board. Explanation: Students will be asked about the country and city where they live and will be asked to describe it using three adjectives then students will do a comparison between the city and the country and will write sentences using the comparative of the used adjective and will write them on the notebooks. Students will be recalled about the concept of carbon footprints, and they will write sentences about the carbon footprints using the starters from Q#3 Page#55. Students will also make sentences using the past tense. Discussion: Will be done by recalling the carbon footprints, simple past and where we live. Success criteria: Will be shared orally and by writing on the board before written work. Written Work: Question no#1, 2, 3 and 7 on notebooks. Wrap-up of the lesson will be done by asking students to compare the habits of their class fellows using the degree of adjectives.
