HumanResourcesManager Responsibleto:ManagingDirector OBJECTIVES TodeliveraprofessionalHRservicewithintheorganisation,byprovidingtimelyand appropriateHRandmanagementadvicetoallmembersofstaffandinternalclients. MAINDUTIES Generalduties Todevelop,maintainanddeliverahighqualityhumanresourcestrategy,and adviseallemployeesandinternalclientsasappropriate Toprovidegeneralistadviceandguidancetoseniormanagers/Headof Departmentsonallpeoplemanagementissuesincludingemployeerelations, contracts,employmentlegislation,recruitment,retention,employee induction,developmentandreviews,joiners/leavers/transfers/maternity leave,successionplanning,andanyadhocprojects whichmayberequired TobeaccountableforHRandTrainingandDevelopment,ensuringthatthe ICAcontinuallydevelopsitsteamtodeliverthebestservicesefficientlyand effectively(thisincludesanyresearchorprojectbasedworkasrequestedby theDirectoryrechangestoworkpracticestomeetbusinessneeds,digital dictationrollout,enhancedteamworkingetc.). Ensuremonthlypayrollinformationisuptodateandtimely. Toreviewthepayandstaffbenefitssystem. Toadministerandreviewthe ICAsInternshipscheme, ensuringtoappoint highlyqualifiedinternswhomeettherespectivedepartmentalrequirements aswellasprovidinggeneraladvicetointernstomakesuretheygathermost valuableworkexperiencewithintheICA(incl.efficientinterninduction& motivatingthoseresponsiblewithineachdepartmenttosupplyfeedbackin themiddleandattheendofinternshipperiod).

PerformanceManagement Toundertakeone,threeandsixmonthprobationaryreviewswithnew recruitsaswellasparticipateinannualperformancereviews,withrequired followup. Toanalyseholidayandabsencedata. Tosupportandparticipateintheannualsalaryreviewprocess.Forexample, obtainsalarysurveys,marketinformation,provideguidanceonpreparing reviewforms,amendandmanipulateExcelspreadsheetsandprepareletters anddocumentation. Toproactivelycounselandguideteamleadersandfeeearnersonthe performancemanagementprocesstohelpensureallstaffmeetorexceedthe organisation'sstatedexpectations. ToaddressindividualHRissuessuchashealth,attendanceorperformance difficultiesandtakeappropriateaction,supportiveorpunitive,as appropriate. Tomanagethedisciplinary/grievanceprocesswhereapplicable.

Recruitment Tocoordinaterecruitmentatalllevelswithintheorganisation.Conducta needsanalysiswithteamleaders,feeearners,managersetcandprovide guidanceandadviceonjobdescriptions. Toundertakeinterviewsforstaffatalllevels Tobuildstrong'businesspartner'relationshipswiththeICA'sappointed agenciesandmediapartners,andliaiseregardingpermanentandtemporary vacanciesandjobadverts. Tomanagetherecruitmentprocesswithinsetbudgets. Toauthoriserecruitmentinvoicesfortemporaryandpermanentemployeesas appropriate. Training InconjunctionwiththeManagingDirector,toassistwithbookinginternal andexternaltrainingcoursesasapprovedbyteamleader/Headof Departmentandasagreedatstaffappraisals. tomaintainindividualHRfilesinaccordancewithlegalrequirementsandto updatetheHRdatabaseaccordingly. Whereappropriate,coordinatecourseevaluationandpasstoappropriate teamleader.

SKILLS&EXPERIENCE Thisisanewpostthatwillreportto theManagingDirector. This positionrepresents theopportunityforapersonwiththerightblendoftechnicalandpersonalskillsto joinusatanextremelyexcitingstageofourdevelopment.Tobesuccessfulinthis role,youwillbeanexperiencedHRindividualwiththeabilitytoinfluenceatalllevels withintheorganisation.Youwillhaveexperienceofmanagingachallengingagenda andtheabilitytoadoptasolutionfocusedapproach.Youwillhaveknowledgeand experienceofmanagingHRsystems,processesandcommunications. Musthave technicallystrongHRadvisoryskillsandconfidentadvisingonemployment legislationandprocess.YouwillhaverelevantHRmanagerialexperience,ideally withexposuretothepublicorNotforProfitsectors.
