Reason for losing clients


Since the main lawyer who the client want is concentrating in their cases and he is not giving enough time to them so the clients are dissatisfied with the service of the firm and they are switching to other firms. Another scenario may be, his

employees are not qualified, experienced and credible enough


like him so the clients might be uncomfortable or not confident enough to continue/do business with the firm. Again since the

firm has many clients but only 5 employees lack of manpower


could be the other reason. So the firm/proprietor lacks a proper segmentation and targeting of its customers for his service.

Definition of Law Firm


A law firm is a business entity formed by one or more lawyers to engage in the practice of law. The primary service provided by a law firm is to advise clients (individuals or corporations) about their legal rights and responsibilities, and to represent their clients in civil or criminal cases, business transactions and other matters in which legal assistance is sought.

8 ps of service marketing for revival


Product element - Criminal law, business transaction,

counselling, Price- If hes providing various law related services, to start off he can offer a comparatively low price in his core field. For example if his core field/specialization is criminal related then he can offer this service at a comparatively low fee to attract more clients since in his field hell be strong.

Place- He should be in an easily accessible area, like

commercial areas. An his place ambience should be such that when a client comes in for first time, the client should feel confident and comfortable about himself as well about the service because in a law related issues whether a good guy or a bad guy everyone wants to avoid inconvience like fine, imprisonment or destruction of property etc.
Promotion- For this type of service a word to mouth would

be effective because in this type of product advertisement or any out of home medium is not practice.

Process- Since service are produce and consume at the

same time, when the client comes in you should be able to provide a satisfactory solution for the client problem at that point of time. So the process should be fast and effective. People- More qualified, credible, responsible and experience employees/lawyers.

Physical evidence- In this type of service physical

evidence is not much required since here quality of service depends upon the end solution however if the office is such that when a client comes in, the client should feel confident about the service and should communicate freely.

management; but quality, as defined by the customer, is essential for a service to differentiate itself from other providers.

Suggestions and Recommendations for revival of the firm


To get started he should be focus and cater to a particular segment/ group of client where he is specialize in so that to revive its brand image. Another option could be, if he enjoys a large customer base he can increase his manpower with people with more responsible, eligible and experience one so the he can give a more personal touch and concentrate on each and every clients.
