Building Relationships
With Staff Its a good thing Im one of those people who runs up to a pool and jumps right in, because thats a perfect picture of how my first month as a fulltime staff member has been! The first three days of May, our Purdue staff team left for a retreat to seek God and His plans for the upcoming semesters. Two weeks later we traveled to Northern Indiana together for our Indiana XA staff training retreat, directly followed by three days with Chi Alpha missionaries form all across the great lakes. From there, we traveled to Terre Haute for the Indiana District Council, where I met several pastors from our state. I am blessed to serve in a state with wise, faithful leaders who also love to have fun! With Students Back on our campus, we are focusing this summer on strengthening relationships with God, each other, and the lost. We currently have three life groups that are gathering weekly to fellowship, study the Word, and intentionally reach out to other students on campus. We all came together for a Memorial Day barbecue and had a great time teaching some of our international friends how to play baseball. The fact that we play with a beach ball made it pretty interesting! Read below hear how that simple holiday party has impacted the life of a non-believer... Thank you for your prayers and generous hearts! Love, Brooke

Michaels Story
Michael (far right) is a Chinese student who has been exploring Christianity. At our Memorial Day picnic, he shared his nervousness about seeing the doctor the next day to have his stomach probed for ulcers. Our staff member Kevin shared the good news of Jesus and prayed God would heal Michaels stomach. The next day we heard news that his stomach was completely fine. God loves to confirm his message with signs and wonders!
