This week we are learning:

Circle Time Review This week we will continue to review colours and all animals from pt 1 and pt 2. We will combine the two different topics into the numbers. As an example, to help students count we will be using animals, colours and sometimes fruits to count. To help students to remember what was taught in previous weeks I will ask what animal is it, What colour is it? The vocabulary will include: animal, cow, horse, sheep, chicken, pig, duck, cat, dog, fish, bird, run, walk, swim, jump, crawl, apple, orange, banana, mango, papaya, pineapple, strawberry, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown, white, black.

Numbers 1-15
Activity Time

Songs: One little, two little, three little Monkeys 1 potato, 2 potato, Were going on a lion hunt Activities: Colour in sheets colouring in the correct number of animal, fruits etc - Categorization - Sorting and counting objects and then identifying the number that matches Games: Number Fishing using coloured fish with numbers, students have to fish for the number told to them by the teacher. Reading time: - One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish - by Dr Seuss

Phonics
Review
This week we will be reviewing what has been taught in previous weeks, sounds sss,aaa,ttt,iii,ppp,nnn,c/kkk, eee,hhh,rrr,mmm,ddd using Jolly Phonics flashcards, CD and games. This week we will be introducing new letters g, o, u, l, f, b. We will learn and practice the following sounds the same as we have been doing over the last few weeks from the Jolly Phonics program. In addition the sounds g/g/g, o/o/o, u/u/u, l/l/l, f/f/f, b/b/b will be learned through hand actions and stories.
