Games and Activities
We will be looking at the number recognition of 0-7. Games will be played with large flash
cards to reinforce what the digits look like. Along with recognition the children will learn to
put the numbers into order.
The children will be practicing counting out the correct number of objects in a picture and
collecting the correct amount of items. They will be learning that they will need to count
out in order to work with the higher numbers such as ten onwards.
-Dot to dot numbers, Number hunt, Number booklet to be continued (focus no.6),
Counting no.9 worksheet, flashcard jump game.

This week the children will be
practicing writing the number six in
their numbers booklet.
The sheep dot to dot activity will also
require hand strength and control in
order to complete the picture by
following the dots and numbers.
