12 Jan, 2006 Subject: Stoppage of Construction work on Plot No 56-JJ, Phase IV, DHA

Due to construction work going on the plot No 56-JJ, Phase IV, DHA, which is adjacent to our house, we are facing following difficulties. 1. 2. 3. The exterior walls of our house which have been painted only three months back have been stained with cement. The paint on the interior of our boundary wall has come off because of water seepage from the plot in question. Debris, cement, gravel etc regularly is thrown on the side passage, and terrace of our house.

Inspite of many verbal complaints to the owner, and the contractor of the house, no action have been taken in this regard to date. We sought help of Defence security in this regard, but even this has not been helpful in stopping the above mentioned problems. It is therefore requested that Defence Housing Authority being the competent body should take action to Stop the construction work immediately until the owner and the contractor gives undertaking in writing to (the copy of which also be send to us for our record) 1. To pay for the damage caused by their actions or get it rectified at their expense. 2. To ensure proper precautions as required by DHA rules, regulations and By Laws to prevent similar damage to our property in future. An early action in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Best Regards
