ELC3203 Adjustment Letter

Colliers Estate Management Limited 22 First Street Ma On Shan 6 February 2009 Ms Ma Richland Court Ma On Shan Dear Ms Ma Re: Matters at Richland Court We are sorry to learn from your letter of 3 February 2009 that our new rubbish disposal system has caused you inconvenience. After receiving your letter, we promptly investigated the issue. With regard to the locking system of the refuse room, we regret that you were compelled to keep your refuse until the end of the holiday. This incident is entirely due to our underestimation of possible problems. I am sure that you will be pleased to know that in the near future we will install a digital lock code system on the refuse doors, thereby averting the need for keys. This new system will hopefully also respond to your second concern regarding a possible security risk. By changing the door code frequently the building should remain secure. So far as consultation on changes, we feel there is a need for our residents to participate more in our estate management. Our company will therefore ensure closer contacts with Richland Courts Residents by publishing a quarterly newsletter containing information about anticipated changes. On our management staff services, your comments caused us a great deal of concern. We believe that it was caused by the use of temporary staff during the holiday, and as we have changed the employment agency which we use, we believe that such problems will not occur again. We are always very willing to listen to comments from our residents and make improvements to our services. If you have any more observations that you would like to make, please do not hesitate to contact me on 2878 3300. Yours sincerely,

J. Wong
