    Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis,

    I am requesting funding for the TTU Center for Teaching and Learning in
    Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in fiscal year 2010. The
    entity to receive funding for this project is Tennessee Tech University, located at 1000 N.
    Dixie Ave., Cookeville, TN 38505. The funding would be used for technology and
    equipment for a space science-oriented STEM Center at TTU to promote strong math and
    science skills for elementary and secondary students and teachers. I certify that neither I
    nor my spouse has any financial interest in this project.
