This document contains lesson notes on using trigonometric ratios like sine, cosine, and tangent to solve for missing angles in right triangles. It discusses using these ratios to find the measures of angles A and B in a sample right triangle with sides of 4 and 9. The document also covers solving for angles beyond right triangles and introduces additional trigonometric ratios like cosecant, secant and cotangent. It concludes with practice problems assigned from a textbook.

Sine, Cosine and Tangent ratios can be used to solve for missing angles in right triangles (just like they can be used to solve for missing lengths!) Ex. Find the measure of angles A and B.

Solving for Angles Beyond Right Triangles...
We recently learned that there are multiple angles that share the same trig. ratios. Recall:
Solve for possible values of A)
, if B)
Why don't we have the worry about the second solution in right triangle problems?
