    Just like 2D systems of equations, 3D systems can have one solution, infinite solutions or no solution:

    Before you begin, always be sure equations are all set up in the same order!
    Eliminate the same variable twice to create 2 new equations...

    x - 2y + z = 15 2x + 3y - 3z = 1 4x + 10y - 5z = -3

    There is not a math error in the work above. Solving this system results in this contradiction. This means the system has no solution.
