John Muir and His Journey To Save the Environment Our Responsibility To Help

For my history fair topic I choose this topic because I wanted to learn the way that John Muir helped save the environment. I also chose this topic because it was the only one I could think of. When we were in history class Mrs. Inglett let us look up some topics from the previous years and I saw one that caught my eye and it said John Muir and his journey to help the environment. I looked at other research topics and I couldn`t find any that I liked. So I just went with that one. So that is how I got my history fair topic for this year. The way I conducted my research is that I went onto different websites and got different information and put it into my own words and then I put it into my paper. The things that I looked up are things like what he did to help the environment. I also looked up different interesting things like what he did in his free time and how he grew up. I used all kinds of websites and primary and secondary sources to conduct my research. I also conducted my research by asking my mom and dad who John Muir was and they said that he was a person who helps the environment. For my presentation category I didnt get to pick what I wanted to do. My teachers said that we were going to do a website instead of all the other things that we could`ve done. Before we did our website we did a research paper about what our topic was. Then after that we did our website. The way that I created my project was when the teachers said that we were going to do a paper. The paper was suppose to help us with our website. And so far it is. The paper is supposed to have all kinds of information on it and some of that information is suppose to go into our research paper. My project relates to the theme because my title is John Muir and hi great journey to save the environment our responsibility to help. The theme of the history fair is rights and responsibilities and my paper is about responsibility. It`s abut our responsibility to help the environment. John Muir helped the environment but he died in the 1900`s. So in my paper I say that I think that it is our turn to help the environment and the plants and animals in it. So that is how my project relates to the theme of the history fair.
