Call to order: 6:03 Minutes from December 10, 2013: Approved Principals report: Communication-School website Celebrating the Student Progress in the acuity test that was taken and there was some improvements such as in language arts, we will see the results in the upcoming newsletter. 7 Habits-(we are not a leader in me in our school but 7 habits are incorporated in the ambassador program) Upcoming assembly will no longer be KC wolf, but will be having Kevin Horner and his bullying program. Have looked at different fundraiser options: in the next two weeks we will be getting information about selling magazines it will also be followed by major saver who support CAN and student grants. Safety: Met with Mr. Harris who deals with building safety and grounds: will reconvene next month about safety concerns and the entrance. Please, always remind room parents to bring badges for the upcoming parties. Second grade music program is coming up in February. Thank you as always to PTA and to the parents for their support. Treasurer report: Balance of $25,588.83 Old Business: Summaries Family Dance/ 5K Membership meeting vote: Did not have the Family Dance and will vote on Movie night, January 16 Meal Vouchers: 95 Sold (counselors identified 125 families) (RE-identified 15 and were all taken care of) Reflections: Winners will be announced at Movie night and will be given certificates. The parents have been given the information. For next year, we may want to purchase state ribbons. Newsletter: We did not have one in December, but will get all that information for the January one. February meeting change: Will have the meeting on Tuesday, February 11th and the Mother night will be on Thursday the 13th if it happens. New Business: CAN: Will be having open house January 23rd 5-7 everyone is encouraged to tour facility and learn how to contribute to it. Movie Night: Despicable Me will be showing. We will be selling hot dogs, nachos, and candy. We will need concession help 5-6 people at beginning around 5:30-6:45. The movie starts at 6:30. Will have a sign-up genius for it. Mother/Daughter Night: Feb. 13th Thursday, Self-Defense class. Book Fair (Feb.): Week of February14th, Need help for set up. We will have a sign-up genius for it. Also need someone to take charge of the Set-up. Open 2 Nights, Friday the 14th- is the take down day. We will have spare change collection jar for charity for kids who cant afford books.

VIP Breakfast (March): Friday, March 28- Rustlyn will look into Kris Cakes and will find out if there is a penalty for booking. Other option is to have biscuits & Gravy from Bob Evans or Price Chopper donuts. Nomination committee & Committee chairperson: Need a nomination committee tonight because need the names by February for a vote to turn in names in March. Available: Treasurer, Secretary, VP, Keep: Gina D.-2nd VP, Committee reports: Watch DOGS: Refresher tomorrow at 6pm, pizza has been ordered, need help. There is $933 left and only spending $150, only need to buy kit for next year $275. Mike will take over but Aly will still be here to help. Kids will be in Ms. Clarks classroom to watch a movie. Spirit Wear: Michelle is looking at a vendor that is all inclusive which Eagle Glen & Timber Creek are using. Meeting Ideas: Give Dollar amounts ahead of time. Discussion items ahead of time. Question came up if we could increase the budget for VIP breakfast budget for next year (min 700 or$1200 maximum) & and for Teacher Appreciation. Subject was tabled for a day that the Treasurer is present. Adjourned: 7:35
