5. If hosts file is not patched successfully then it must be edited manually. Pa th of hosts file is "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts". Open it in notep ad and add the following line at the end of the file 127.0.0.1 acdid.acdsystems.com then save the file (*Note - some antivirus dont allow editing of hosts file so if they detect it as trojan and revert it to previous file then you must add the hosts file to the exceptions in your antivirus software first and then edit it 6. Click Gen LicKey on keymaker CORE.exe and copy it (dont close keymaker CORE.e xe yet). 7. Open ACDSee pro and click on enter license key and paste the key , click next 8. Application will ask for acid account login , dont register and close the dia logue box. 9. Click on Help Menu and then Register offline , then copy Request code from AC Dsee offline reg window and paste in keymaker Core.exe in request code field and click on Gen Unlock , now copy the unlock code and paste in ACDSee offl ine reg window in the appropriate field. 10.
