an Theorem) (CCSS 8.EE.A.2, CCSS 8.G.B.7) Warm Up On a scrap piece of paper, have students write down three things they are unclear about that are going to be on the quiz and rank them from 1-3, when number 1 being the thing they are the most unclear about (turn into me Formative Assessment) Put students in groups of three or four and have them work on review problems two from each of the previous lessons while youre reading the slips of paper Fishbowl Discussion Once everyone has completed the review problems, assign students to groups of 5 or 6. Pick an issue that students were having the most trouble with according to the pieces of paper that were turned in. Choose one group and have them discuss the issue in the middle of the class. Have the other students take notes. Once the discussion has reached a point where you feel its necessary to move on, the other students may ask questions or make points as well. If there were other major issues, continue with a new group of students. Ask for any further questions before the quiz. QUIZ (Summative Assessment) If any students finish early, they may work on their zoo blueprints (turn into me when finished)
