Jack Mitchell 7-8 A
The Bull's head in the top right hand corner and the faces throughout the painting, Guernica, catch
my attention. The light bulb at the top of the painting catches my attention because it seems to be
lighting the area around it and there are shadows of the beams of light on the ceiling. The painting
sparks my curiosity by the seeming randomness of the images that seem to be fighting for attention
throughout the painting, Guernica. I can conclude that the painting was painted to show the mass
chaos and death that happened to the city during and after the bombings.
