What details in the painting catch your attention?

What caught my attention was the horse like animals in this painting. I feel like those
horses were painted into the painting to represent how there was a war going on at the time and
that some of the fallen bodies were soldiers riding the horses to fight in this war. But Im
wondering what the lightbulb has to do with the painting. Im not exactly sure what it really
represents or symbolizes, which sparks curiosity in my mind. What I can conclude from this
painting is that it is meant to symbolize the idea of war and what it does to people and the
world.
