    website to help answer these questions. Save this to your Google drive, and Hand it into the

    What details in the painting catch your attention?


    What questions of curiosity are sparked by the painting?
    What conclusions can you make that are based on information in the painting?

    In Pablo Picassos painting Guernica, there are many aspects that caught my attention. The
    fact that there is so much diversity and contrast draws my eye towards the painting. The white
    aspects of the painting really seem to bounce off the black and hit you in the face. Also, the
    mixed medias draw your eye. There are some smooth and some rough parts and also some
    cartoonish and some realistic. Some questions that have been sparked are why Picasso chose
    to do something so different, despite the fact that some people would dislike it. A conclusion I
    can make is that this painting shows some real pain, based on the fact that there are faces in
    anguish and that the painting is named based off of a city that was terrorized by Germans.
