I am currently enrolled in the Therapeutic Recreation program at the Nova Scotia
Community College in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I have completed a 4-week student
placement at the Nova Scotia Hospital in Transitional Care for individuals with complex
mental and physical health issues. During my placement, I organized programs for the
clients, did many one-to-ones, and facilitated some activities. I will be graduating with a
Therapeutic Recreation diploma in June of this year. I am also approaching the end of a 5-
week student placement in long-term care.

After reading the job description as posted on SaskJobs, I have the skills and knowledge to
provide appropriate recreation and leisure programs for your clients and would love to be
a part of your team. I am currently living in Nova Scotia, but am willing to relocate to
Saskatchewan.
