Working mechanism of motor 4
A 12V DC motor is employed to achieve the required motion mechanism.
The motor is supported on a structure. A pulley with belt attached to it drives a gear.
Gear which is getting power from the motor through belt transmission drives a rack and pinion
(Ref fig below) which converts the rotary into linear motion. This forward drive is pushed against
the ground which in turn lifts the robot from one end.
An inclination of about 30 degrees is achieved in wiping end of the bot.
