The Tibbetts Tribe

My family is the greatest

blessing in my life. You will
hear lots of stories about our
adventures. We love going to the
beach, traveling, eating at new
restaurants and everything
related to Disney! Youll meet
my son Nathan who is a senior
this year, and my 3rd grade
daughter, Annika. Nathan loves
kayaking, paddling and
photography. You may already
know my daughter. She was in
Mrs. Yees 2nd grade class last
year. She enjoys tennis and art.
Her favorite class is PE, and you
will understand why when you
have Mr. Shklov as your PE
teacher this year! I am very
excited to learn all about you and
to welcome your family to our
Gecko `Ohana.
To be organized for the
rst day, please bring the
following items to our
Meet and Greet on
August 27th:
I. 1 framed picture of your
family (either 4 x 6 or
5 x 7 sized photo)
II. A baggie of photographs,
stickers, magazine
clippings, or other at
decorations for your
writing journal
III. The three Punahou forms:
2 for dismissal and 1 for
PFA
IV. A change of clothes
V. A pair of extra slippers
VI. An umbrella or a poncho
Mahalo for being prepared! :)
You must be wondering what also
known as Lizard and Froggy means.
Those were our nicknames when we
were young. We will
tell the stories behind
those silly names on
the first day of school.
We laugh a lot in the
Gecko Class, so you
are invited to share a
funny story and a
nickname with the
class during our first
week of school. If you dont have a
nickname, then please decide on a
name that describes you....maybe your
initials?... something you like to
do?...someone famous?...a favorite
movie or book character? We look
forward to hearing your choice.
If you are able to attend the
Meet & Greet on August
27th, please bring all your
supplies so they can be
labeled and organized in
advance. You are welcome
to stop by any time between
3:00-4:00 PM to drop off
your supplies and meet your
classmates and teachers.
The next day, school starts at 7:55 am.
The classroom will open at 7:15 am. If
you cannot attend the Meet and
Greet, please bring your supplies on
this morning. We look forward to
meeting you soon!
