Protection Relay

The participants will be able to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities

necessary in protective relaying.
Specifically:
The participants will be able to learn the general philosophies, basic tools, and
characteristics of protective relays;
The participants will be able to know the different types of protective relays
and the different zones where protection is applied;
The participants will be able to learn how to operate a relay test equipment;
and
The participants will be able to learn how to test, calibrate, and maintain the
basic types of protective relays.
