You will turn your homework in immediately unless directed
otherwise. You will get the bell ringer and check the Promethean for instructions. If you complete the bell ringer activity before time is up, please read silently. If you are tardy... If you do not have a pass, sign the tardy sheet located on the left white board. Quietly go to your seat and pick up where the class is. It is not necessary to make a scene if you are tardy.
When you turn in homework... All homework must be turned in to the appropriate tray on the bookshelves. Homework should always have the proper heading at the top. Homework will almost always be turned in at the beginning of class. Homework must be turned in 2 mins after the tardy bell rings.
If you do not have your homework... Fill out the top portion of the Missing Homework Sheet, located in the blue crate, and turn it into the homework tray. If you need to leave the room... Write down the date, your destination and time. Bring your agenda to Mrs. DAntoni for her signature. You must also grab the shoe figurine on the white board. Mrs. DAntoni may turn down your request to use a pass because of a quiz, test, or previous excessive use of passes. You may NOT leave the room in the first or last 15 mins of class. Do not ask unless you are bleeding profusely, on fire, vomiting, or believe the zombie apocalypse has started. Only one student out of class at a time. If the shoe is not in its proper place, you know a student it out. Wait for the student to return.
If you have been absent... Check the Absent Binder, on top of the bookshelf on the left side of the room. Find the date you were absent and make note of any missed notes, homework, and activities. If you missed any handouts or worksheets, they will be in the blue crate with your name on them, filed under your block. If you missed a quiz or a test, please see Mrs. DAntoni ASAP to schedule a make-up. You are responsible for getting your missed work from the binder and for getting instructions from other students. Dont forget to copy any missed notes from another student.
When you need a pencil or paper... Paper is available for your use in the student supply center. However, if you are using paper more than twice a week, I will consider consequences. There are pencils and pens for you to borrow but I will require collateral (your agenda, ID, or shoe.) You can only get your collateral item back at the end of the period in exchange for the return of the borrowed pencil or pen. Please note that constant need of supplies means you are breaking the first class rule and there will be negative consequences for this. If you finish your work early... o Choose an extra work activity from the folder on the wall for some buffer points. o With permission, work on something for another class or read. Before you leave the class for the day... The bell does not dismiss you from class. Mrs. DAntoni will dismiss you from class. You may not line up at the door or leave before I dismiss you. Check your area to make sure you havent left anything behind.
