    Dear Sir/Madame,

    I would like to apply for the Junior Project Coordinator position, ref CG007. I am
    interested in gaining experience in working in a business environment and turning
    ideas into commercially viable projects. During the final year of my graduate studies I
    worked as part of a group on an i-teams project organised by the university of
    Cambridge (http://www.cutec.org/?n1=i_teams) which has given me an insight into
    the process of turning ideas into commercially viable projects. Our team was quite
    successful and we managed to win both the £100 and £1000 challenge. I also have
    experience in working in an Industrial environment from my summer work
    experience at Monsanto and a short internship at Oxford Biomedica as part of my
    BBSRC-CASE studentship.
    Throughout my PhD I have developed skills which are important for this position
    such as time management, organisation working with others as part of a team and also
    setting up collaborations in order to move projects forward.
