Subject: Reminder, Delay in Issuance of Mobilization Advance and Large Extent of Extra Work Item.

Dear Sir,

It is to inform you that you issued the work order for the alteration and renovation work at Beacon House
Schools, Gulshan e Iqbal, Middle-01 & 02 Schools on 25-06-2013. The deadline for work completion was
30-07-2013, but the mobilization advance was issued, with a delay on your part of 9 days, on 3-07-2013.
This delay of 9 days should be added in the deadline of work completion.

Further the Extra Work Item included a complete removal of existing slab, standard design and casting of
new R.C.C. slab in 3 class rooms. It was not a nominal task to be considered as extra item rather it takes
time and should not be considered in the allocated time of project completion.

Given all these challenges we completed the work on 3-08-2013 and submitted the final running bill on 7-08-
2013. It is, therefore, requested that due to above mentioned reasons the work completion deadline be
considered as 9-08-2013 and not as 30-07-2013.
