Sub: Request for EOT (Extension of Time) accordingly.

Contract No: KTFT/NCB/WORKS/2075/2076-05

Dear Sir,

As per contract agreement dated 21 Jan, 2019 (2075/10/07), it is mentioned that completion of
total work within 2076/02/15 and the revised completion date for the whole work is 2076/08/08. Due to
various hindrances beyond our control we could not complete the total works within given completion
date and request you to provide extension of time for 365 days. The major Cause of delay in project are
as follow:

1. For site clearance

To initiate the work at chainage 20+130 to 20+180 we haven’t got the site cleared until August 27,
2019 which delays the overall project.

2. Delay Due to Monsoon Season and Access Road

Due to the prolonged time span of monsoon, mobility of vehicle to and from the working site in
monsoon period we encountered numerous landslide in access road which was beyond our control.
which disturbed the access road and also we can’t provide oil and accessories for Equipment in time.
Also we have stocked our RE wall materials near package no KTFT/NCB/WORKS/074/075-14 which
we can’t transport to the package no KTFT/NCB/WORKS/074/075-5 (20+530 TO 21+180) due to
blockage of access road.

3. Time To Time Change In Design

Due to change in design time to time we cannot rely on one design to start the construction work
which delays the project completion time.

4. Change in Centerline
Due to change in design centerline previous design of RE Wall needs correction as per changed
centerline which takes time and delays the project.

5. Variation In Tendered and Designed Quantity

There was difference between designed and boq quantity. The first submission of proposed design to
KTFT design section was on the date 2076/4/16. The design is still in review process.

Hence, we request you kindly to grand extension of time as per our aforementioned valid and genuine
delay causing event. Co operations are required please instruct us. Please find below mentioned
documents attached with this letter.

1. Letter for site clearance and access road

2. Letter for delayed in submission of design and drawing of RE Wall
3. New Centerline Data
4. Rainfall Data
5. Letter of recommendation from Indrasarovar Gaupalika
