    Contract No: KTFT/NCB/WORKS/2075/2076-04

    Dear Sir,
    As per contract agreement dated 17 Jan, 2019(2075/10/03), it is mentioned that completion of
    total work within 2076/02/15 and the revised completion date for the whole work is 2076/08/08. Due to
    various hindrances beyond our control we could not complete of the total works within given completion
    date and request you to provide extension of time for 365 days. The major Causes of delay in project are
    briefly as follow:

    1. We haven’t got site clear till date for the package KTFT/NCB/WORKS/2075/2076- 04 (19+440 to
    20+080) to initiate the work.

    2. Earthwork cutting of Gajurmukhi-Motidan J/V package no( KTFT/NCB/WORKS/074/075-4) chainage:


    19+435 to 20+190 is running, In the same chainage new package no 4 KTFT/NCB/WORKS/075/076 -4
    Chainage: 19+440 to 20+080 is awarded to Gajurmukhi Mahalaxmi Fewa J/V. To commence new RE
    wall package 4 work, earlier package KTFT/NCB/WORKS/074/075-4 (Gajurmukhi Motidan J/V) must
    completed excavation work as well as muck clearance work to start the construction work.

    3. Due to change in centerline of the road re-design of RE wall takes time which delays the project.

    4. Due to change in design of RE Wall time to time we cannot rely on one design to start the construction
    work which delays the project.

    5. Variation In Tendered and Designed Quantity


    There was difference between designed and boq quantity. The first submission of proposed design to
    KTFT design section was on the date 2076/4/16 and the second submission was on date 2076/4/26.
    The design is still in review process.

    Hence, we request you kindly to grand extension of time as per our aforementioned valid and genuine
    delay causing event. Co operations are required please instruct us. Please find below mentioned
    documents attached with this letter.
