Subject: Drainage Pipe Class-B Bedding Detail

Dear Sirs,

We have attached you the drainage Pipe bedding detail proposal along with this letter for your
review and approval. We have used this bedding detail in all Addis Ababa projects we had
carried out together with the client (AACRA) such as Ring Road, Bole – Meskel square road,
Kality to Tulu dimtu project, Kality to Klinto project, Megenagna-Torhyloch east west road
project, all condominium road projects, CMC road projects, to mention some. This drainage
pipe bedding which CFHEC/IFH/CCCC currently apply are also used in all previous intercity
projects including Addis-Adama express-way and Outer Ring-road projects. This is therefore,
to kindly request you to give us approval to use this pipe bedding for Ø122 pipe with same
details as shown in the attached drawings so as to enable us smoothly carryout the pipe
construction and installation works.
