Concept of Job Analysis
Job analysis is formal study of jobs. It
includes the tasks involved in a job and the
qualifications needed to accomplish the job.





Systematic way of gathering information
about jobs and the employees performing it.

A) Job Description(job requirement)
Job title, duties and responsibilities, authority,
job relationship etc.
Written statement of what the jobholder does.

Personal characteristics, qualifications,
knowledge, skills and abilities needed to
perform the job.

Standards for each jobs in terms of quantity and
quality. Standards should be SMART

Systematic way of determining the value/worth of
