features the artist from the front cover. The image takes up a whole page from the double page spread. The image is in black and he is wearing the same clothes from the front cover, however this time, he is wearing the sunglasses he was holding before. This means the direct address with the audience has been lost. There is no background and the image looks very bleak. There is also no background on the opposite page.
The masthead- The
masthead on the opposite page uses up half the and is spaced very widely across the top. A thick, bold font has been used.
Column width and
positioning- There
Use of Space- The space for this double page
spread has been used wisely in my opinion. This is because one whole side has been used for the main image and on the other side; the main heading takes up one half of the page. This means that only half a page has been left for the article so it doesnt look like much writing which would appeal to the target audience, teenagers who prefer not to read huge amounts of text in a magazine.
By-line- A by-line is used
in a newspaper to name the writer of the article.
The font type is the same for the masthead
and subheading; however it is different for the article text. This is so the article is easier to read
are two short columns
of writing under the masthead. They are both the same length and width which shows uniformity.
