This week we are learning:

Land animals

Circle Time Review

With the Christmas week this week I

would like to have a strictly Christmas
class with the MEP class. This will
include songs and dances, games
like pass the parcel, musical chairs
and statues, colouring and videos or
a movie with a xmas theme

Activity Time
Activity time I would like to continue going through the vocabulary with them. I
would like to do this in two different ways.
1. showing video off youtube of the vocabulary
2 Using flashcards and playing games like fly swat, sumo and the crocodile game
The vocabulary is the same as the ep programme. Clause, Reindeer, Sleigh,
Presents/gifts, Elf, Bells, Candy cane, Stockings, Christmas tree,
Snowman, Decorations, Ornaments
I would also like to continue working on their conversational skills by asking them
simple questions, eg. What is your name? what is the weather like? How old are
you? Etc

Phonics
Review
This week we will only do a very
quick review of the phonetic
sounds of the alphabet as this
week is cut short by Christmas and
New Years holiday.

New (letters/sounds/vocabulary)
This week we will review some of the blending that we have done so far. The students will all get
a chance to read the words on the board and practice pronunciation. We will also practice
matching the words with pictures. We will continue to practice these word families this week:
-am(can, man, fan, pan, van and ran)
-at(hat, bat, cat, mat, fat and rat)
-ap(map, cap, nap, tap and sap)

Writing Practice
We wont be doing any writing
practice this week.
