Location Reece

The control room for the lecture room

I have chosen to take my picture for my
double page spread in this room. This is because of
the neutral colour scheme in the room. The black
walls fit with my monochrome colour scheme for
my magazine so I knew there wouldnt be any
colour clashes with the photograph and my house
style. Another reason for choosing this location is
because of the equipment available in there. The
computers, speakers and control panel all fit my
dance music genre because this equipment is what
is used to produce this genres music. They are also
stereotypical mise en scene propps featured in
dance music magazines such as mixmag.

The photography room

I have chosen this location to take my picture for my
magazines front cover. This is because for my front cover I
wanted to stick to the codes and convention of all music
magazine covers, very minimalistic. This room will allow
me to get perfect lighting and quality for my final image
due to the option to move the lights round to suit my
style. The plain white walls were perfect because I wanted
a plain background so it was clear for the readers to read
the cover lines on the page while also fitting my monochrome colour scheme.
