The parent should also let the teacher know which day they can come to read as the Star Parents, and if unable a grandparent, friend, etc. can come instead.     Star of the Week

    Dear Parent,
    Your child, Austin will be our STAR March 15th
    24th. Help us celebrate your special child by providing
    the items listed to our class the next time we meet.
    (All items will be returned to you the following their
    time as star.) Please include
    Five to ten pictures that are your childs favorites.
    Star Poster colored and returned
    A favorite G movie to watch at rest time.
    A favorite book for the Star Parents to come in
    and read to the class.
    Let me know which day you can come and read as our
    Star Parents. I understand that sometimes it is not
    possible for you to come in and visit so a grandparent,
    friend, aunt or uncle can also come in. I appreciate your
    help in making next week special for your child!
