Mr. Jeff Roberts

Internship and Career Services Assistant Coordinator
Loras College
1450 Alta Vista #123
Dubuque, Iowa 52001
Dear Mr. Roberts,
As the popular saying goes, The third time is the charm. It is due to Loras
being my third college, and the only one I fell in love with, I stress and
emphasize the word charm. Due to my past experiences and personal
struggles at my previous colleges, Loras is held within a special part of my
heart. After finding out about the Admissions Counselor position from
Professor Mary Lynn Neuhaus, I knew that my newness and excitement for
Loras would be a perfect fit for the position because the recruits and high
school students would be able to relate. As my enclosed resume will show, I
also have the necessary skills and knowledge to accept this job and succeed
at it as well.
Communicating with others was the main objective of my previous position
as a teller at East Dubuque Savings Bank. My manager, Lori Wagner,
informed me that she was overly impressed with my communication skills.
She said my relation to customers made them feel welcome and comfortable
in ways that others could not. Communication with customers ranged from
toddlers to the elderly. According to a personality inventory, my personality
reveals structure and organization, which gives me exceptional ability to
oversee programs and activities. A key to my success in school and work is
my ability to multitask. This allows me to have a lot on my plate and still get
the job done in a timely and accurate manor. In me, you will discover a
reliable, friendly, enthusiastic, and extremely hard-working individual.
It would be an honor to establish a time to meet with you to further discuss
how my talents and past experiences are the charm for this position.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,

Brooke Dittmer
