We will identify the three main aspects


of Health Education.

How is physical, mental/emotional, and


social health related to a person overall
wellness or level of health?

We will identify Lifestyle Factors that


can promote wellness.
Students will identify ways to reduce
health risk.

Besides using the textbook, what are


some other ways of developing your
health information?
What would happen to a person if they
only emphasized their physical health?
What are some high risk behaviors that
teens should try to avoid?
What would be the short term and long
term effects of these high risk behaviors?

Students will work in groups of (4) in


order to recognize healthful and
unhealthful behaviors.

Set one goal for this week or during


these next six weeks in which you plan
to improve your health.

The collage will indicate that students


are more productive when they
maintain a balance in life.

Ex:
I plan to get 8 to 10 hours of sleep each
night.
I plan to be more involved socially with
at least one organization at Horn HS.
I plan to try out for the basketball team.
I plan to relax more.
