Saint Mary's Church Nativity Set

The traditional nativity set which was on display for
many decades at Saint Mary's Church on the corner of
Third and Washington Streets is one of the
memories of our parish community. For the past two
years it has been on display in the window of the
Cuozzo Family Grocery on Third and Liberty. We are
grateful to the Cuozzo Family and Louise Merola for
their past assistance. This year the nativity set will
be on display in a window at the Friehofer's Run for
Women Headquarters at 233 Fourth Street (corner of
Washington) by arrangement with George Regan. Once
again the Chiappone Family of Ida Street will set up
the display for all to see in time for the Christmas in
Little Italy Celebration this Saturday, December 1,
2012.

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH NEWS

A BIG Thank You to Heather Hamlin for the
outstanding job she did as the neighborhood watch
coordinator . For six years she sent us our alerts and
pertinent information about our neighborhood. She
brought us informative speakers concerning safety
and worked closely with our community police
Officer. Earth Day and any other event Heather was
involved in was always a success.

Our new Coordinator is Rocco DeFazio. He can be
